I had been having headaches which were increasing in intensity and frequency. As well, I had a bulging or herniated disc(s) which caused great pain in my leg and lower back. Since 2001...
I have had bulging disc(s) which would cause problems for a year or more, heal and then bulge again. The present problem began in September 2008. The headaches began shortly after and were sporadic in the beginning but became daily as time passed. The headaches, which originally occurred a couple of times a week, were daily events which grew in intensity as the day progressed. The hip, leg, ankle pain also increased in intensity from morning until night on a daily basis. It was hard to stand to make dinner or sit to eat it. I have tried everything suggested (except surgery) – I was taking ibuprofen and naproxen daily which helped me sleep but did nothing for me through the day. I saw a physiotherapist, a chiropractor and a message therapist regularly which offered short temporary relief at best. My quality of life was seriously hampered.
Within two weeks after started at Nova Spinal Care my headaches had subsided and the pain in my leg was gone within the next week to 10 days. I now wake up in the morning feeling rested, and instead of needing 9 1/2– 10 hours of sleep, I know wake up after 8 hours and feel ready for my day! And, perhaps, one of the sweetest results is not having to say “I’m exhausted” and “it’s really killing me today” to my husband all the time. (I guess I don’t suffer in silence!) J
I can now stand at the counter and cook dinner or bake for my family, I can get my housework done, I can play with my 5 ½ year old granddaughter, go for walks with my husband. And we are looking forward to going on hiking, camping, and biking trips this summer……I CAN’T WAIT TO GET IN MY GARDEN!!
I have already referred patients to Nova Spinal Care and will continue to do so!!
FYI – I had visited my spiritual director and in the course of our conversation he said that he woke up feeling a call to pray with me for healing. Within a week my massage therapist suggested I visit you and, also, a friend (from Ontario) told me how going to NUCCA there had led to the alleviation of pain which had been with her for 50 years, and she had tried EVERYTHING through the years, especially chiropractic therapy. Within 2 weeks of NUCCA treatments, I was on my road to recovery!
