Dr. Cindy Toner is a NUCCA practitioner and co-founder of Nova Spinal Care.
After completing a Bachelor of Science degree in Kinesiology at Dalhousie University in 1997, Dr. Toner pursued her dream of becoming a chiropractor by attending the founding school of the profession,Palmer College of Chiropractic in Davenport, Iowa and graduated in June 2002.
While at Palmer College of Chiropractic, she served as vice-president of the NUCCA Club and assisted students in learning more about the technique.
Currently, she is an active member of the Nova Scotia College of Chiropractors, the National Upper Cervical Chiropractic Association (NUCCA), and the International Chiropractic Pediatric Association (ICPA).
Dr. Toner is constantly striving to improve and update her knowledge of chiropractic and efficient methods of correcting the spine. She attended a seminar in Montreal dealing specifically with gentle methods of adjusting pregnant mothers and babies and obtained certification in the Webster Technique.
She has attended numerous NUCCA conferences throughout the United States and Canada including San Francisco, Atlanta, Chicago, Calgary, and Toronto. In addition, she spent several months in Tulsa, Oklahoma training in a very busy and successful NUCCA clinic with Drs. Mary and Ray Marshall.
Dr. Toner is passionate about empowering people to take control of their health. She looks forward to the challenge of providing quality chiropractic care to a growing number of Atlantic Canadians.
