Cindy and Jason met while attending Palmer College of Chiropractic in Davenport, Iowa where they graduated from the Doctor of Chiropractic program in 2002. There they found an interest in a specific gentle technique in chiropractic that focuses on realigning the entire spine and body through a gentle procedure in the upper neck called NUCCA (National Upper Cervical Chiropractic Association).

Following graduation, they moved to Halifax to bring this new technique to the East Coast of Canada. Nova Spinal Care is the only clinic East of Montreal to provide this specific gentle upper cervical technique. In addition to the NUCCA technique they use Torque Release, MC2, QSM3, BioEnergetic Synchronization Technique (BEST), Instrument Assisted Soft Tissue Mobilization (IASTM), Webster Technique.

Cindy and Jason have 3 young active boys (David, Alex and Peyton). The boys had their spines and nervous systems checked from the day they were born. As parents, Cindy and Jason are firm believers that getting regular chiropractic care along with leading a healthy lifestyle has allowed their family to experience extraordinary health.

It was chiropractic that helped solve many years of chronic low back pain. Through this experience and his desire to help people he was led to chiropractic school where he graduated salutatorian of his class.
